Hi all

Oh dear, a thread about Avon's hair and costumes - how can I resist?

I confess I do like the 4th season look, but my actual favourite hair
episode is probably 'Voice From the Past' - that bit where they're doing
exercises in the rec room features very nice Avon hair IMO.
My pet hate hair-wise would be Pressure Point - it looks like he has just
had his fringe cut and it's way too short.

My pet hate about the dread series 4 leather and studs outfit is the
horrible waistcoat/vest/whatever underneath those horrible white panels.
I'd find it much more bearable if it had been dispensed with. Then he
could have taken the jacket off occasionally and just had the nice black
turtleneck. I confess that one of my favourite Avon costumes is the the
red leather trousers worn with a plain black turtleneck.

On the subject of the hideous red lobster suit (well, the top is hideous -
as I said, I'm fond of the trousers) has everyone read June Hudson's
comments about how she originally did the outfit? Apparently their were
going to be little leather cone/spike things around the top of the
jacket!!! But the producer asked for them to be removed (thank goodness).
I am trying to picture little spikes on the lobster suit and my mind is
thoroughly boggled.

OK, folks this is your one week out and final reminder for
what looks set to be the biggest yet Blakes 7 drink up at
Pages Bar in London on 20th June. So far we have 14 ayes
and 4 maybes. They are:

Ayes: Me, Una, Carol, Tanya, Fiona, Jenni, Teri, Harriet, Jay
Amanda, Linda, Katharine, Stephen, Alison,

Maybes: Judith, Louise, Heather, Amanda's husband

Have I missed anyone or are there anymore ayes?

The details are: Pages Bar is on Page Street,
London SW1P. Nearest tubes are Pimlico and Westminster and
railway stations Charing Cross, Victoria and Waterloo are not
far away. The No 88 bus, which you can pick up near
Piccadilly Circus, goes right past the door. The C10 bus also
goes past the doorand you can get that at Victoria.
I'll probably get there between 5.30 and 6.00pm.

cheers
Steve Rogerson

Unfortunately Part 2 will be delayed, I suffered a major computer
crash and lost everything. ( I know I should have backed it up!
Lesson painfully learned). And during my trip to England I won't have
any real access to a computer.

Rosetta Stone, Oblaque Sextus. It's a superb and very disturbing story.

Now they're really out to get us. First the BBC postpones Lost in Space,
then Cable & Wireless's transmitter goes funny and wipes out UK Gold in the
Manchester area until 11.30... two hours after I crawled out of bed to
watch Blake. All the other channels seemed to be there except Sport 3.

We're waiting for the burglars to arrive and remove all the tapes now.

Thanks for the reminder, Steve. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone in
less than a week.

I'd love to look at any B7 treasures/pictures that anyone would like to haul
to the bar.
And if anyone has any extra pics for trade/sale (from recent conventions),
I've
instructions to shop for a couple of friends (one GT fan, in particular, would
like
pics).

See you all soon,
Carol Mc

Dear All,

Just Read Carol MC's note - May I ask if any B7 slash readers attending
would consider possibly borrowing or selling me some Fanzines / Novellas
(2nd 3rd 4th hand no problem).

Just getting a taste for this stuff (oh - and I like it). However bank
balance indictates famine not feast at the moment.

However I am "mostly harmless" (Yuck)

If anyone is interested I think I have a working copy of the BBC series
"Star Cops" which I remember being mentioned in an article not so long
ago.

Talk to Me - People?
