Trouble is, that's not the way much of the techno generation sees
things. The reaction is "Why should I pay money to get something that I
can pull off the net for free?" I'm contemplating doing a website for
Val's art, complete with *one* free sample of what stuff scanned at high
resolution looks like, so that they have an answer. As anyone who's seen
_Endless Farce_ can testify, thay can look very pretty indeed.

Captions for the March photo are up. On offer for April: 4 pictures to
choose from, 2 each from "Visitor from the Grave" and "Guardian of the
Abyss," the Hammer House of Horror episodes featuring Gareth Thomas
and Paul Darrow, respectively (if not respectfully). The url is:

<grumble>
Yep. Exactly. You do them a service, you put a great deal of time and
effort and disk space into something, and do they appreciate it? Do
they thank you? Not at all.
I put Acrobat versions of Refractions #1 and Refractions #2 up on the
web (that's the Real Thing, the masters get printed from this).
Three people responded. (Thank you Joanne especially.) The counter
on that page, today, stands at 101. That's a 3% response. Pathetic,
considering that email is much easier to send than snail mail.
</grumble>

Why should I bother? Tell me why.

Good point.
I put the cover art of Refractions on the Refractions web page, but it
is scanned in at about 1/3 the resolution that the real thing uses.
Maybe I should put a note to that effect.

Tears of joy ran down Avon's cheeks as he listened to the choir singing
"Shine, Jesus, Shine". He looked across at Mary Sue who smiled at him
and took her hand in his.
"Isn't Jesus wonderful ?" she said.
They exchanged a look of perfect love and understanding.
"I'm so glad I've become a Born Again Christian" said Avon. "Will you
marry me ?"
"Of course I will".
Suddenly they were aware that Soolin was standing behind them "When did
you get religion ?" she hissed.
