One of the coolest suggestions my partner and I tried was to envision
ourselves as different elements (okay this is a sex magic example -
seems appropriate enough ;-)

One would, for example be the shore an the other the ocean, how do
they relate. Gender polarity is absent!  Feel the rush and ebb of the
water, the acceptance and abandonment of the shore, the swirls of
passion and power.  Be a tree and the wind.  Feel the freedom to touch
anywhere versus the rooted power of the tree.  sink into the energy of
leaf, root, bark, sap flowing strongly.  The caress of wind and
shivery sparkle of leaves.

We were trying to unbind outselves from seeing the universe as this
great duality.  With multiple partners it could be even more
interesting. ;-)
